I'm just a downtown resident who is completely devastated by the injuries and deaths that our street designs are responsible for. The 10th fatality was ten too many, so I made a website to help people express their concerns to council. Community petitions always carry more weight if councillors hear from residents via phone. Please take a moment to call your councillor and the mayor and ask them to "Make Main Street safe as soon as possible!". The office staff will be friendly to speak with and will record your concerns and pass them along. You can also dial after hours and leave a short voice mail if you don't want to speak with anyone in person. Thank you for doing your part!
